Hi, I'm Cole.

I'm a college counselor, college essay coach, test prep guru, and experienced teacher and tutor. After earning a degree in English and Creative Writing from Columbia University, I taught high school English. Each year, I focused more and more on college readiness and applications. By my tenth year in the classroom, I knew it was time to fully transition to college prep.

I've spent over 20 years studying and teaching the college essay and the ACT/SAT, and I've interviewed hundreds of admissions officers along the way. I love everything about this job!

Outside of work, I spend my time air frying, learning about college trends, board gaming, and parenting my eight-year-old twins. I'm also an avid reader and writer. Among a few personal projects: finishing my second novel, completing a course on the college essay, and mastering the GMAT.
